Château de Carsix is an eighteenth-century brick-and-stone estate in the Eure department of Normandy, roughly halfway between Rouen and Paris and reachable by train from the capital in about an hour. The owners operate the château as an exclusive-hire wedding venue with an English-language website, no imposed suppliers and no corkage fee, which makes it straightforward for British couples bringing their own caterer or planner.
The estate combines several reception spaces — four interior salons seating up to one hundred and fifty, a detached Mirror Room for one hundred and a marquee capable of seating up to two hundred and eighty. Accommodation runs to twenty bedrooms in the château itself for around thirty-eight guests, with additional gîtes on the estate sleeping up to a further ninety-three for larger wedding parties.
